Using OPT(ML)

OPT(ML) provides workout planning and logging, food logging with nutrition estimates, and weight tracking. You can use it without an account; an account, whether created with an email and password or with Sign in with Apple, is what backs your data up and follows it to a new phone. You must be at least 13 and provide accurate account information. You are responsible for activity under your account.

Not medical advice

Calorie targets, workout suggestions and nutrition information are informational and are not medical advice. Nutrition figures in the shared food database come from public data and from other members' suggestions, which we review but cannot guarantee. Consult a physician before starting a training or nutrition program.

Fair use

Don't abuse the service: no unauthorized access, no automated or bulk extraction of the shared food database, no deliberately false or misleading food suggestions, and no attempts to interfere with other members' accounts. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Your content

You own the data you put into OPT(ML). You grant us the limited license needed to store and process it to run the service, as described in the Privacy Policy. If you offer a custom food for everyone's search, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free license to publish its name, brand and nutrition figures in the shared food database without your name. We may edit, decline or remove a suggestion, and a published entry stays in the database after you delete your account.

When you share a Pump Check, you confirm that you took the photo or have permission to post it, that it shows nothing you do not have the right to show, and you grant us a license to store it and show it to the friends you share it with for as long as the post exists. Keep it decent: no nudity, no harassment, no one else's work passed off as yours, and no spam. We may hide or remove a post that breaks these terms, with or without a report, and we may suspend an account that keeps doing it. You can report any post from its menu, and block any member; a block ends the friendship and hides you from each other.

Copyright complaints

If you believe a post infringes your copyright, email [email protected] with:

• a description of the work;
• where the post is (the member's name and the date of the post);
• your contact details;
• a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized;
• a statement under penalty of perjury that you are the owner or authorized to act for them;
• your signature.

We act on valid notices promptly, tell the member, and accept counter-notices to the same address. Members whose posts draw repeated valid notices lose their accounts.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time from inside the app, which removes your server-side data as the Privacy Policy describes. The control is called Delete Account and it lives on your profile: open the Social tab, select Settings (the last section at the top of the tab) and tap Profile (the row with your photo), or tap your initials in the top right of Overview, which opens that same Profile page; Delete Account is at the bottom of it.

These terms are provided "as is" without warranty; to the extent permitted by law our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service.

Changes

If these terms change materially we will tell you in the app before the change applies.
