OPT(ML) for iOS. Last updated September 2, 2026.
Email [email protected]. It comes straight to me. There is no ticket system and no bot in between, I read everything that arrives, and I answer as quickly as I can.
Write to [email protected] and tell me what happened. I can usually work a problem out much faster when the message includes:
If you are not sure what to include, write anyway. A short message I can ask questions about is worth much more than one you never sent.
Anything about your data - a question, a correction, or a request to delete it - goes to [email protected], so it does not get lost in general support.
The full privacy policy explains every piece of data the app touches and where it goes. The same policy is in the app, on your profile.
You can delete your account from inside the app, and you do not need to ask me first.
Open the Social tab, select Settings (the last section at the top of the tab) and tap Profile (the row with your photo), or tap your initials in the top right of Overview, which opens the same page; then scroll down to Delete Account. You will be asked for your password to confirm, or to confirm with Apple if you signed up with Sign in with Apple. That permanently removes your account and everything held against it on our servers - your profile, the backup of your logs, your Pump Checks with their photos, reactions and comments, your friendships, and any food suggestions awaiting review - and it clears the copy on your phone. It cannot be undone.
If you would rather I did it, email [email protected] from the address on the account and I will take care of it.
Tap Forgot password? on the sign-in screen. A six-digit code is emailed to the address on the account; it works once and for 15 minutes, and setting a new password signs out every other device. If the email never arrives, write to [email protected] from the address you signed up with and I will help you from my end.
No. This first version is free, there is nothing to buy inside it, and there are no ads.
An iPhone running iOS 26 or later. There is no iPad version and no Apple Watch app in this release.
Three ways. Scan the product's barcode with the camera, search the foods that ship with the app - close to four hundred of them, plus builders for common chains - or type the item in by hand. Nutrition for a scanned barcode comes back from Open Food Facts, an open community database, and only the barcode number is sent. No picture is taken or stored.
This version does not work out calories from a photo of your plate.
Open Food Facts is kept up by volunteers, so plenty of products are simply not in it yet. You can type the barcode into the field on the same screen, or use Add without a barcode to enter the food by hand, and it is saved so it is a tap away next time. Send me the barcode if you would like me to look at it.
Signing out clears this device's copy of your logs, and I am sorry if that caught you out. Your account and the profile on it - age, height, weight, activity level, goal and units - come back when you sign in again. Your logged sessions, food entries and weigh-ins are kept on the phone itself rather than on our servers, so they do not come back with you.
The same is true of moving to a new phone. That is a limitation of this version rather than a bug, and it is the part I would most like to change.
Please tell me. Your calorie and protein targets are worked out from your profile and how much you move, and a finished workout feeds into that day's budget rather than being counted twice, so if a figure looks off it is worth a message with a screenshot. I would much rather hear about it than have you quietly work around it.
Yes, and I would like you to. This is the first version and it does a handful of things properly rather than a long list badly, so if the thing you need is missing, tell me what it is and how you would use it.

I am one person building this, so a reply might take a day or two, but it will come from me.
